Yulia Antonovna Putintseva is a Kazakh tennis player of Russian origin and descent. She was born in Moscow, Russia and represents Kazakhstan in the Fed Cup. Her fathers name is Anton, her mothers name is Anna and she has a brother called "Ilya". Yulia's father introduced her to tennis and she soon started practicing at the Spartak Club in Moscow. She plays right-handed (two-handed backhand).

She is a baseliner with her favourite shot being her forehand. Her favourite surface is clay and her favourite tournaments are the Australian Open and the US Open.
