A talented and eclectic young Aussie who will undoubtedly ignite passion for other young people who will hopefully become international legends as our players did in the 60s!

She is a great role model for all. She gives her very best at all times with such skill, grace and fairness. I love to see her control and determination on the court followed by her little smile when everything has gone right for her.

Doubles in tennis is special for its teamwork and sophisticated tactics. Ashleigh Barty understands doubles at a deep level. A superb volleyer, she knows where to be, what shot to hit, where best to hit it, and how to support a partner.
She may be the best woman at this since Martina Hingis. These talents were displayed this week as she and Coco Vandeweghe combined to win the Miami Open Championship.
