Tennis star Eugenie Bouchard has gone on a blind date over bet  

Eugenie Bouchard has honoured her promise to join a 20-year old student for a date, after he won their Twitter bet over the US Super Bowl.

Atlanta Falcons were 21-0 ahead, Genie predicted their victory online. However New England Patriots fan John Goehrke bet her a date that his team would win, she accepted the bet.

The New England Patriots came back in the dying minutes, to win the game 34-28.

Ms Bouchard, 22, clearly a lady of her word, tweeted a picture of herself and John on the way to a New York basketball game.

Eugenie secured prime courtside seats for the game, where the Brooklyn Nets took on the Milwaukee Bucks.
First date sealed with a kiss.

Genie Bouchard's Twitter date fan gets a second date

Genie described John as a "gentleman" and declared their first date "awesome!"

In a video John said "It was his best date ever"

John also brought Eugenie a set of Tiffany earrings.

She was asked by a reporter if there would be a second date, she replied "For sure!"

Her date was vetted by Genie's agent and bodyguard.
